My Role as product owner

This bullet point list will show all the tasks I took as the Product Owner:

  • Primary Responsibility: Led and guided the team in realizing the game vision and reaching milestone 
  • Communication: Collaborated with the Scrum Master and other leads, organized stand-up meetings, reviewed tasks on the Miro Board.

  • Clarity and Alignment: helped the crafting of the Game Design Document (GDD) to clarify my vision of the game

  • Project Milestones: Created presentation pitches and builds for Alpha, Beta, and Jury Day.

  • Marketing:

    • Game Cover​

    • Trailer

    • Documentation

    • Installation for Itch

  • Challenge: Maintaining so that all in team stayed on the same vision.

  • Solution: Guiding the team towards the right vision with, meetings and decided what should be in or not. 

  • Perseverance: Kept team motivated and aligned towards creating an exceptional game

Pitch presentation for Jury Day

My Role as Level Desinger

Concept and research

  • Planning reference pictures for the arena

  • Started drawing arena level maps in Photoshop.

  • Chose a single arena due to time constraints.

  • Focused on layout and resource placement in level maps

Block Out

  • Block out the vision of the arena, where co-op, mechanics and the flow of the game feels nice. 

  • Working in the engine with the tool's that Unity had

  • Working modular as possible 

Iterations / Scripting / Balancing

  • Iterated and got feedback on structure, layout, progression and how to encouraged players to use arena space effectively.

  • Implementation of mechanics

    • Craft​

    • Get ingredients

    • Quest / Task manager

  • Balanced resource types and placements.

Through iterative development of the throwing mechanic, the height of the walls was decreased from 1 meter to 0.5 meters. This adjustment improved teamwork and enabled the throwing mechanic to operate more effectively

Various systems and events were implemented for balancing, ensuring careful consideration of game flow, gameplay, and progression
