Concept and research

  • Started making a mood board for the different chunks of level.

  • Focused on concept art and what need's to be done, art wise

Making Props

  • Produced models using Autodesk Maya, involving modeling and UV unwrapping.

Texturing

  • Designed textures and materials using Substance Painter.

  • Integrated textures and materials into the game engine.

my role as Sound designer

Concept / Process / Implementation

  • Designed and composed all sound effects for the game.

  • Composed the main menu soundtrack..

  • Engine work included:

    • Placing sound elements within the game.

    • Implementing dynamic sound features.

    • Setting up reverb zones for spatial audio effects.

    • Adjusting triggers for special in-game events.

  • Developed a script in C# with coders to convert animations into appropriate floor-specific footstep sounds (e.g., metal footsteps on metal surfaces).

  • Recorded voice-over to give out the game's lore and mechanics to players.

    • Manipulated the sound to sound like it is coming from a recorder
